AFC Championship Game: Steelers vs. Ravens

We're going to hold off on all the cliche talk about how the best team will win and it's all about who wants it more. We all know it's going to be a dogfight to the end. Although, if the Steelers just completely crush the Ravens, we'll be totally cool with it.

There is so much you can say about the Ravens and Steelers, but in the end it really comes down to two gritty teams with the number 1 and number 2 defenses. With players like Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed, teams don't rack up a ton of points, so whoever can squeeze out a few points will be the winner. And the team that wins the turnover battle will more than likely end up the winner.

The Ravens are pretty beat up after playing the Titans and not having a week off since week two thanks to a hurricane. Terrell Suggs and Samari Rolle appear to be no gos for the game. A whole host of other Ravens are banged up in some way including Ed Reed, Mark Clayton, Todd Heap, and Derrick Mason among others. The Ravens say they'll be ready to go, but what else can you say? Adrenaline may get you a little ways, but as a lot of teams know, going against the Steelers is not going to be a day in the park. Especially if you're on offense.

Overall, we definitely think the Steelers are going to win this match-up. A banged up Ravens team is no match for a healthy Steelers team. With Big Ben's shoulder feeling good and his ability to throw the ball long, and Willie Parker finally looking like Willie Parker, it means big plays from the Steelers. We can't wait for the Steelers to shut up Ray Lewis and his big mouth.

All kinds of coverage over at the PG. More articles than you can stand to read.

Get out those Terrible Towels and enjoy the game.

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!
