The Pens lost to the Sabres last night after, once again, having a lead. As we mentioned before, we don't get Versus so we were unable to watch the game on TV. We did find a decent feed, but watching a game in that small box isn't exactly what we call great. We don't feel like we can make too many comments because we didn't see the game that well. Bottom line on this game is that the Pens still haven't learned to play 60 minutes consistently and need to learn that real quick. They also need to get that power play in line. You have a full two minutes of 5-on-3 and you can't somehow score a goal or get more than 3 shots off? Wow. Pathetic.
Marc-Andre Fleury has now returned to practice for the first time yesterday. He was excited to get back with the guys, but there is no set date for his return. It's believed he has a groin injury, but whatever it is, he says if he were to re-injure it he would be out for a really long time. Better to be on the cautious side, but if you're anything like us, you want to see him back VERY soon.
The Penguins next game is in New Jersey on Wednesday. Stuff on the Steelers later.
