Geno has superstitions too

(Keith Srakocic/Associated Press)

We were reading through some Pens stuff when we found an article from Sporting News on Yahoo! that included a little tidbit of information on Geno. He considers talking to the media before a game bad luck. Media asked for him to speak to them following a morning skate and his response was "Please, after game. Bad luck." It seems Sidney Crosby is rubbing off on Malkin, as a lot of us know Crosby is extremely superstitious.

That and more can be found in this article, Despite injuries, Penguins flying high in East.

More links we found interesting:

Molinari on the Penguins, a weekly look inside the team. Pens still Eastern Conference contenders.

Steelers' Mitchell holds line. (Great read about Steelers' defensive line coach)

Lastly, we couldn't resist posting this funny song and video about Ryan Malone. Enjoy.

I've heard that from a lot of athletes that they won't speak to the media in fear of losing. So interesting!

I found a great post on Peterman's Eye today about superstitions, and I thought I'd share...
