Pens lose Game 5

That title might be a little misleading. Not only did they lose game 5, they were crushed 5-0. What a disaster. We never want to see a game like that again. The penalties were horrendous. So was the defense. Obviously the offense wasn't much better. But as far as we're concerned it's over and the Pens need to win game 6 at home to force a winner take all game 7 back in Detroit.

The Pens will come out strong in game 6 and we truly believe there will be a game 7. Every single person on the ice last night needs to play better. That was a team loss and game 6 will be a team win. If they can't muster up enough to come out strong and play 60 minutes in game 6, they don't deserve the Cup and they can watch the Wings hoist it on their ice for the second year in a row. Do you really think they're going to let that happen again? No.

There's no point in even breaking down this game. We all know what happened. There's nothing else to say. It's time to win game 6. Too bad it's so long until Tuesday. Hang in there and believe.

Normally we're not in the mood to watch something like this after a loss, especially one like game 5 with no highlights whatsoever, but this is a good episode and you'll enjoy it.
